Overview:

For over 25 years I have been practicing law in Tyler, Texas. When I was finishing law school at Texas Tech I was selected by the justices of the Tyler Court of Appeals to serve the court as a briefing attorney advising the court and drafting appellate court opinions. After a stint as a briefing attorney for the appellate court here in Tyler, I was selected as law clerk for one of the Federal Magistrates in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Texas, Tyler Division. I am licensed to practice in all the state Courts of Texas, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Western Districts of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of Texas. I have been on the Criminal Justice Access panel since 1986 and have handled hundreds of federal criminal cases in the Northern District of Texas, Eastern District of Texas and the Western District of Texas.

We meet the needs of clients in Tyler, Longview, Marshall, Jacksonville, Palestine, Athens, Gilmer, Mineola, Quitman, Canton, and Henderson. I have represented people and business in the courts in most counties surrounding Smith County, including Gregg County, Harrison County, Upshur County, Wood County, Rusk County, Cherokee County, and Anderson County.

My office is located in the Bank of America Building in downtown Tyler across the square from the Smith County Courthouse and across Ferguson from the United States District Courthouse. The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Texas is located in my same office building, as is the United States Trustee's Office, the Chapter 13 Trustee's Office and the United States Attorney's Office.
